Dudes [in a mutual crew] have been upset with me lately because the girl they’re crushing on shows me a little bit more attention than them, calling me sweet names, etc. Like, I’ve been given salty looks/subtweets/been told to back off and what not. I really hate to fire shots and put them down, but there’s one potential difference here.. And that difference is that I’m actually myself.

I’m trying my best not to be really specific here..but it pains me to watch them feed off the vibe(s) and thirst like that lol. Not a day goes by where she can talk about something, and minutes later they will flex and try to look good in her eyes. It’s like if you talked about your passion, and someone tried to replicate it without even knowing the basics. Say you said something along the lines of “Just learned such and such song on guitar..” only to be smacked dead in the face with “OMG I REALLY WANT TO LEARN HOW TO PLAY AN INSTRUMENT NOW!”

On the contrary, I don’t do A DAMN THING..and that’s what gets me. I literally don’t even try to appeal or look for attention..the people that think I’m dope as fuck simply come to me. I keep to myself, go about life, and show love to people in the process.

The moral of the story here is clear..stop trying to be a certain someone for someone else and you will prosper.
