We met the coolest dudes yesterday on Scholars.

I was just getting my walk in and saw Markus sitting on one of the chairs and Kaundra was walking in that direction, so I joined those two. There were three black dudes longboarding and using the hill between two buildings as a start-off. Two were skating and one decided to record (‘cause he fucked his ankle up lol). They had a female friend..who I’ve actually seen around..and one of the guys’ dog was out there lol. Turns out they’re all grad students right now (excluding Sarah I think) and graduated from Winthrop.

BUT YEAH. They were really fucking cool to us. They weren’t those dudes who just start talking shit on sight or anything like that. All were getting to know us, but at the same time talking like they’ve known us since birth.. Inviting us out, asking if we wanted to kick it.. Just generally friendly folks.

The funny thing though, is that all three of them remind me of us in a sense.. They all came from the same place/went to the same high school, pretty much kick it together at any given moment, all have the same humor.. You know. Shit like that.

Also: Longboarding is lowkey fun and dogs on campus are total chick magnets.
