Cruel Summer.

Was underwhelming imo. And this is coming from somebody who didn’t already hear all 5 of the songs that were released before the abum (well, the leak..):

• Clearly, Mercy and Cold were the two I’d heard.
• Only heard I Don’t Like once during Senior Week.. And ironically I’ve listened to it a lot (for my paper) just hours before I downloaded the album.
• Skipped out on New God Flow because every faggot on the Internet was hyping it up to an extreme degree.. Like calling it “song of the year.”
• Skipped out on Clique ‘cause every faggot on the Internet was hyping it up and the project was right around the corner anyway..

Aside from it being hyped up only to be 12 SONGS and not having Mos Def OR Q-Tip on it.. It’s okay. And even though my “cruel” list outnumbers my “gruel” list, there still isn’t a lot of variety as far as who’s on the songs.
