Just want to give my blog a shoutout (I can do that right?) for whipping up the potential to give me a topic for my first writing paper. The prompt is a debate on a controversy of our choice.. And I was worried that it may be too cliche or even too extreme to choose gay marriage.

Asked a couple e-friends and one [who frequents here] told me..

controversy is ANYTHING haha. You already got started on Food and lasers 2. Why not use that…or the prevalence of social rap and it’s effect on society vs “ignorant” rap. When you get THAT much freedom, make sure you’re writing about something you really enjoy. Everyone is going to pick stuff like abortion, the government, and immigration. Make the teacher read something enjoyable haha.
