First post from Richardson.

Yeah, with the whole moving process and all of that.. Haven’t really had time to sit down and hop on here. But it’s been dope so far. Well, I take that back a little bit. Those long ass LEAP lectures for Early Launch were boring as fuck.. But at least I’m not one of the people moving in right now. Plus we had a good bit of free time.

At first it was pretty much Markus and any of the LEAP people we happened to befriend. But when we were all free? It was pretty much like how it was when we went to the beach: Exploration, inside jokes, chill vibes, girls, etc. Oh, did I mention that their room is beside mine? Res life made a monster.

First night together/Second day we linked up and just decided to explore and people watch on Scholars Walk. Obviously, there wasn’t many people to watch. The only people there were TRIO, LEAP, orientation, etc. But we spotted some girl we recognized from Twitter and she stopped to talk to us.. And after a while all her friends came. They told us about some foam party in Charlotte so we waited for their call, sparked up, and headed out. Met two more groups of girls there (all going to our school) and what not.. Lol clubs obviously aren’t my thing but it was aight. Bunch of ignant nigga shit that I didn’t recognize was played so I just moved to the beats. Only joints I recognized were some Meek Mill joints and joints I haven’t heard since middle school. Not even Mercy or anything like that was played lol. Oh, by the way, there was no foam. All the foam was outside or something? It wasn’t a complete waste ‘cause I got some booty on me and what not tho. So we bounced and the two groups we met invited us to Steak and Shake to kick it with them. It was 8 of them and 3 of us so I expected the balance (conversation wise) to be off in the worst way.. But they’re so funny, yo. Like, not even the ditsy kind of funny. Just genuinely funny ass people.

Third day was actually Markus’ birthday (hence how we brought it in at the club/S&S) so we had to fade again for him at night. It was also regular move in day..so our dude Will came. Long story short, sipped a little, smoked a little, kicked it at a house party. It was mostly sophomores with some freshmen in the mix,  but everybody that was there goes to WU. I’ve seen a few of them on campus today haha. There was even one cool ass dude that went to the other high school in my district. But yo! We did pretty damn good for some new guys.

All party and bullshit aside, I’ve enjoyed everything else so far. It’s just the fact that I’ve been out every night since I’ve gotten here that’s got me feeling type hyped. I GUESS what my mom said was somewhat true.. But it’s like I can finally have a social life now that I’m in college. And this is only the first week, you know? Gotta make friends. When school starts, my head will be on school. Focus during the week, wild out during the weekends.

That’s the plan.

And with our respective mentalities, it’ll work out fine.
