*Would’ve published this yesterday. But I got home around 1 AM & was mad tired. Ooooops.

This Friday night was definitely the night I needed. Just to get away from everything and the annoyances. School was same old, same old. Did nothing in AVID, watched the pageant video in Sociology (even though she claimed we’d work on research papers), and we all died of boredom in Government.

But enough of that shit. The move was to go see Act of Valor with Q, Andrew, Brett, and some others. I live a few minutes from Drew, so we just decided on going together. He came over and we kicked it (Translates to jamming out to our favorite Kanye joints) ‘till it was time to head out to pick up Ramia. When we got to the movies, we immediately saw Mallard on the way to the line..and at that EXACT moment..Brett was like “Hurry up or you’ll only have bottom seats” or whatever. And at THAT exact moment..the 7:20 showtime we were aiming for had been sold out. So we are all like “Fuuuuu..” and went inside to plan out. ON A POSITIVE NOTE, Sarah was working tonight, and it’s been ages since I saw her. But yeah.. This guy Q comes walking out (He’s usually the late/latest one) talking about he bought his ticket after school lol. Brent and Nick showed up after that. Then Patrick and Markus after them..and we all decided to just kill time by going to the mall.

LOL dude..for some reason we thought it was a bright idea to ALL get in the same car: Drew driving, Ramia in the front passenger, Q, Brent, and I in the back seat, and Nick and Mallard in the trunk. It was so fucking cramped haha. But we are all dying laughing. We walked around the mall for a little..kicked it in the food court.. just cracking jokes and shit. At that point we honestly had like two hours to kill. So Princess came to kick it with us too. As we were leaving..we saw Andee in one of the stores..so she came along too lol. Just one big reunion and shit. Afterwards, we went to Mishima ‘cause a few in the circle were hungry. When we were still in the mall, Nick told one of his friends to meet us up there (Keep in mind he didn’t know any of us. He probably expected us to be country or something.) so some of us got “fake names” lol. Drew was Thomas, Ramia was Kayla, and I was CJ. I eventually just went outside in the cold ass parking lot with Drew, Pat, Mia, Markus, and Princess tho. Guess that was pretty obvious..

The “white boys” decided to go home lol. So that left the movie crew to be Drew, Mia, Markus, Pat, Princess, Q, Andee, and I.  It was a pretty good movie though once I got past some of the acting. Felt like I was watching a live action Call of Duty match or something. I only say that because the action and tactics were pretty on point though. It wasn’t one of those movies where you have some star spraying every enemy in sight, defying limits, and coming out without a single scratch. There was a big emphasis on camaraderie..and I’d say it was a lot more realistic than I expected it to be.

But yup yup yup. Ramia and I met one of Andrew’s friends from Boy’s State after the movie. He was a cool guy, if I do say so myself. Real cool guy. And I only knew him for about 10 minutes lol.

I’d also like to add that I have an increased respect for J. Cole’s album (along with my awesome friends) after last night. It’s still nothing compared to The Warm Up..or even FNL..but it’s worth having in my playlist. Oh. And I keep calling everything a “bronco” ‘cause of Markus. I won’t even get into that though lol.
